Kiran Desai, daughter of Anita Desai (three-times Booker nominee) won the 2006 Man Booker Prize for her book The Inheritance of Loss making her the youngest woman writer to have ever received the prize.
Many described the book as funny, moving, wise, insightful and the most impressive novel so far.
I have not read the book, as I am still waiting for it to be allocated to me, so I have nothing to say about it for now.
